Go Do It Issue 2 Released!
Studio 1482 is happy to announce the release of the second issue of our promotional magazine, Go Do It. Our latest issue is a beautiful collection of reportage projects from the entire Studio. Our “Reportage Issue” includes Margaret Hurst’s drawings and writings of her native Virgin Island’s Moko Jumbie parade, Dominick Santise’s reportage of the now highly debated 2006 Tour de France final laps up the Champs-Élysée, Michele Bedigian’s emotionally charged look at the New York Botanical Gardens and the inspiration it brings, Greg Betza’s display of what a fan and an artist can do with the US Open in Queens, New York, Despina Geogiadis’ beautiful translation of the annual Orchid Show at Rockefeller Center into a stunning Earth Day campaign, Kati Nawrocki’s reportage of Paris’ historic monuments and arrondissements, Charlotte Noruzi’s poetic tale of a solitary man, and the Eddie Pena/Veronica Lawlor joint reportage project that was turned into a large scale mural for the 3M Company headquarters in Canada.
We are honored to have guest author Lisa Cyr write an introduction for our latest publication. Over the months leading up to the publication of Go Do It she interviewed the members of Studio 1482 and compiled a current and insightful essay on the role reportage plays in the illustration and art world.
